My Client is a growing multi national company looking to recruit quality software engineers with Windows Mobile or Symbian experience to join their expanding teams of talented engineers.
Essential Experience:
Batchelors degree 2:1 or higher from a recognized university, ideally in software engineering or related subject. Alternatively a computer science based
Masters degree may be considered. Courses that include mobile technology related courses would be a distinct advantage.
Excellent software development skills in C or C++.
Good understanding of object-oriented design.
Ability to solve problems and sufficient independence to source solutions to problems with limited guidance.
Experience in the full software development life cycle.
Experience of dealing with clients in particular relating technical issues to peers and non-technical management
Good communication skills.
Ability to work as a productive member of a development team.
Desired Skills:
Symbian Accreditation or Microsoft Certification.
Familiarity with related mobiles technologies such as WAP, GPRS, GSM, networking protocols.
Secure computing or embedded software development.
Knowledge of UML and software such as Rational Rose.
Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio.
Knowledge of wireless computing industry.
Candidates must be prepared to travel and work away, as projects demand. The period and nature of which will be gauged by the project and experience
