|
Position Summary (Purpose of job):
We have an immediate opening for mid-level J2ME developer well versed in J2ME application development. You must be confident of your technical skills and have good communication skills. A Bachelors degree in computer science / Information Systems is required.
Key Responsibilities:
·Work closely with Business team to gather requirements
·Design and develop J2ME applications to meet the needs of project requirements
·Perform unit and integrations testing
·Work closely with the Quality Assurance group members to solve software defects
·Prepare technical documents and provide technical support for other team members
Minimum Job Qualifications:
·4 – 6 years of software development experience
·2 years industry experience developing wireless applications using J2ME technology
·Strong UI and graphics programming experience
·Experience working with latest technologies: XML, SOAP, WAP, HTTP, TCP/IP
·Proven ability to turn ideas and concepts into carefully designed and well-authored code
·Strong problem solving skills
·Strong communication skills: verbal and written
·Strong team player, good work ethics, commitment to quality and team work
Preferred Qualifications:
·2 years industry experience with C++ in a mobile environment (i.e. Palm OS, Windows Mobile, etc.)
·Experience with Eclipse
·Experience with Blackberry application development
·Experience with J2SE/J2EE
·Experience with AJAX
Working Conditions:
Environment (Office, Travel, etc.) – Standard Office Environment
