Duties
This position will be involved in the Design, Development and Delivery of the Symantec Mobile Security suite of products. As a senior member of the team you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the future of the wireless security market.
Activities include requirements analysis, design and implementation of high quality code. Look for ways to improve the status quo, propose and sell new ideas and products in the engineering organization and guide the projects through implementation.

Requirements :
Computer science degree or comparable experience required and a minimum of 10-12 years of software development experience.
Proficiency in C/C++
Mobile OS: symbian, wince, windows mobile or other
Deep understanding of OOP, design patterns and of the Internet
Comfortable with Windows development environments
Previous Wireless industry experience, Java skills or security exposure are definite assets
Ability to deal with ambiguity. Excellent problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate should have high energy, passion and be very motivated by the field success for the project. We want someone who has strong a strong sense of engineering excellence and a drive to see products succeed in the field.
